Mendocino County Admin Building Evacuated After Bomb Threat

The Mendocino County administration building on Low Gap Road in Ukiah was evacuated late Tuesday afternoon after a bomb threat was received. Mendocino County CEO Darcie Antle said an email stating that a bomb had been placed in the admin building was received, which prompted an immediate comprehensive assessment by the Sheriff’s Department. At 4 pm, the building was evacuated and by 5 pm a thorough bomb sweep had been conducted with no explosive device found. It was later learned that the same email threat had been sent to 17 other counties.
