Ukiah City Council Authorizes City to Take Loan to Help Complete Infrastructure Projects

At the last meeting of the Ukiah City Council, the board authorized a resolution allowing the city to borrow up to $10 million from the Umpqua Bank to continue several infrastructure projects. The loan will offset gaps in funding while the city waits for grants to kick in. The council unanimously voted to increase a rebate through the Low Income Billing Assistance Program. The increase amounts to 25%.
