The Bureau of Land Management has rescinded its fire restrictions for public lands managed by the Arcata and Redding field officers in Mendocino and surrounding counties. Hourly limits on the use of internal combustion engines off roads and trails and on recreational target shooting also have been lifted. Campfires are once again allowed outside of developed recreation sites. Users must have a valid California Campfire Permit.
