State officials were in Willits recently to break ground and mark the beginning of a middle-mile broadband infrastructure project. The project is a part of the 280-mile California Department of Technology-Arcadian Infracom project that will run along Highway 101, part of the 8,000-mile statewide Middle Mile Broadband Project. The project will build open-access Broadband for unserved communities between Eureka and Marin and Contra Costa Counties.
