Senate President pro Tempore Mike McGuire is again serving as acting governor, while Governor Gavin Newsome is at the Democratic National Convention. McGuire’s North Coast district includes Del Norte, Trinity, Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino, Sonoma and Marin counties.
