MendoParks, formerly the Mendocino Area Parks Association has a new Executive Director. Sid Garza Hillman has served as race director of the Mendocino Coast 50K Trail Ultramarathon and as event coordinator for Winesong. Since funding cuts for educational programming in 1984, MendoParks was formed by local park rangers and has raised money for ten coastal state parks, supporting all the functions of the park.
