An excessive heat warning is in effect through late this evening for Lake County and the Southeastern Mendocino County interior. The NWS says dangerously hot conditions with widespread locations reaching or exceeding 110. Lows in the valleys will see some relief with lows in the 60s. The ridges will remain in the 70s to low 80s with limited overnight relief. Hot weather is expected to continue through next week.
