The Lakeport City Council meets Tuesday at 6 pm and will consider approving the new fiscal year budget and the city’s annual appropriations limit. City expenditures came in at about $30 million, while revenue was predicted to be nearly $18 million. Capital improvement projects make up the difference between income and expenditures. The council will also consider approval of the placement of the historic Lakeport Curfew/Hooligan Bell in Xabatin Park, and acknowledging the Lakeport Rotary Club for its generous contribution to the project.
