The proposed Clearlake Burns Valley Sports Complex got a much-needed boost on Tuesday. Congressman Mike Thompson presented the city with a check for just over 4.1 million dollars. The new facility will expand the community’s access to sports and recreational opportunities and will help the city host tournaments and sporting events. The complex is expected to generate an additional $8.6 million in revenue for the community.
