The Clearlake City Council meets Thursday at 6 p.m. and will consider selling a surplus city-owned property in the 14000 block of Palmer Avenue. The council will also consider the salary range and classification for a community development specialist, whose duties would include a variety of high-level building and planning secretarial and clerical duties. The position is expected to provide much-needed support to the Building and Planning Department. The council will also declare the 18th through the 24th as Safe Boating Week.
