A man who has been a fugitive for more than 30 years who was caught by Ukiah law enforcement last year entered a guilty plea just before he was about to stand trial. Kourosh Sadeghi, a citizen of Iran, had been hiding in plain sight in the Laytonville area. He pleaded no contest to false impersonation of another, driving under the influence and driving while intoxicated. In return for the guilty plea, Sadeghi will serve 2 years in state prison. Formal sentencing will take place in May. He will also stand in San Francisco and San Diego on original charges.
