The body of a man pulled from the Russian River on Friday morning has been identified. Members of the Hopland, Little Lake, and Ukiah Valley Fire Service retrieved the body. On Saturday, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s office identified the man as Joshua Scott Freeman, a longtime resident of Mendocino County. Foul play is not suspected in Mr. Freeman’s death, an investigation is pending.
