A boil water advisory is in effect for those residents who draw their water from the southern half of Clearlake. The Lake County Health Service has issued the order in response to a sewage overflow incident on Burns Valley Road in Clearlake. Anyone with a private water intake from the lake is advised to boil water or use bottled water until further notice.
