The director of Ukiah’s Water and Sewer department says installation of the final phase of the Purple Pipe Project, which will recycle the city’s water is underway and going well, despite some setbacks due to rainy weather in December. Although Director Sean White would not give an exact percentage of how much work remains to be done in phase 4, he did say that some of the most complicated work is upcoming, which will be running pipe under Highway 101, and that work isn’t expected to begin until sometime this Spring.
