Local veterans are outraged at the sudden change of locations of the local Veteran’s Service office from a small house on Observatory Avenue to offices in the Mendocino County Public Health Building. A group of Vets shared their displeasure and dismay with the sudden move at the recent Board of Supervisors meeting. The vets contend the new offices in the public health building will be intimidating to many with PTSD. Dr. Jenine Miller, head of Behavioral and Public Health says all effort will be made to make the new location accessible and welcoming.
