The Mendocino County Sheriff’s office has recovered the remains of a woman believed to have drowned this weekend. High surf prevented recovery efforts initially, with the team having to wait until low tide to try again. Although a positive ID hasn’t been made yet, the body is believed to be that of Rebecca Jones, who was visiting the area over the weekend.
