The Clearlake City Council yesterday voted to sell three acres at the former Pearce Field Airportto Adventist Health Care Clearlake for $1. TheLakeCountyNews reports the investment of $50 million by Adventist Health will improve health outcomes. The 38,000 square foot rural health clinic is expected to draw an estimated 165,000 patients visits per year and anchor a major new development at the same time. The city also reserved an additional 10 acres in the event Adventist choses to expand in the future.
