An at-risk elderly Sonoma County woman was found dead near Boonville by Mendocino County Sheriff’s deputies. Michele Paul was reported missing at the end of last month. A call to the sheriff’s office led to the reporting party taking deputies to what turned out to be Paul’s vehicle. Search and Rescue was called and a search launched. Paul’s body was found in a heavily wooded area near her vehicle. Although foul play is not suspected, an investigation is underway.
