Ukiah Man Found Not Guilty of Murder Is Found Guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter

A Ukiah man found innocent of murder has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Deborah Garner Flicker in March of 2022. Drew Andrew Price entered pleas of not guilty of murder and not guilty by reason of insanity. When that happens, the question of guilt is addressed first. Price was found not guilty of murder, and he then withdrew the insanity plea, the jury then found him guilty of manslaughter. With credit for time served, Price may have less than four months of a 4-year sentence left to serve. If he had not withdrawn his insanity plea, he may have been committed to a state hospital for a much longer term.
