The Mendocino County Health Officer has issued a new order that in order to combat severe infections during the winter virus season, personnel with patient contact working in healthcare delivery facilities to wear masks, and employers and operators of those facilities should develop and implement policies strongly seasonal Influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations to their employees. In a press release, it is stated the order will become effective on November 24 and extend to April 30 of next year, and in future years will extend from October 1 through April 30 and continue until rescinded. The order is posted on the Public Health website at mendocinocounty.org.
