The Lake County Fire Department presented its first new challenge coin to a Clearlake man who rescued his neighbor after an explosion and fire in their home. The challenge coin is a new honor for the Fire Protection District and each of the five fire districtS in Lake County has 20 of the challenge coins to award in special recognition. Robert Lombardi was the Lake County Fire Protection District’s first award.
