A new scan targeting those with EBT cards is making its way through the area. TheRecordBee reports that “skimmers” placed on card readers in high-traffic areas like convenience stores and gas stations are being used. Lake County Social Services says that this month there have been 221 Total Cases reported with $166,746 stolen, and $145,229 replaced.
