PG&E Warns About Metallic Balloons for Valentine’s Day

It’s Valentine’s Day and PG&E  reminds you that this time of year, showing your love is great, but if you do that with metallic balloons, please make sure they are attached to a weight and never release them outdoors.  Every year, an uptick in outages is caused by a metallic balloon drifting into powerlines.  Metallic balloons can stay inflated for two to three weeks, so please once you’re done with yours, simply deflate them and recycle them.
