The beloved Palace Hotel in Ukiah is getting the once over by noted San Francisco architects and engineers who specialize in recycling historic buildings. In January, the team expects to begin the process of rehabilitation for the building, with the goal of starting construction in 2024, Owner Minaj Shankar says the believes the building still has life and has assembled a top team to make that happen.
