Tribal Communities in Mendocino County to Benefit from $47 Million in Grants

Tribes in Lake and Mendocino County are among those slated to receive $47 million in funding from the state to help prevent and end homelessness and meet housing and services needs of tribal communities. The awards include $20 million in tribal homeless assistance grants to fund projects in 16 tribal communities across the state, and four Homekey awards totaling $27 million to fund 75 homes for members of four tribes, including homeless youth.
