The Lakeport Police Department is hosting the National Night Out Against Crime in Library Park on Tuesday, October 4, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Participating agencies include health services, Social Services, school district, and educational services, City services, Coast Guard Auxiliary, Lake Family Resource Center, Lakeport Main Street Association, American Red Cross, the Girl Scouts, and Senior Services. The Lakeport Kiwanis will be serving hot dogs, water, and movie theater popcorn. The Kelseyville Girl Scout Troop will serve lemonade. Everything at the event will be free of charge.
