Rain-slick roads are thought to be part of the cause of an accident in which a vehicle slid off State Route 20 and down a 100 ‘ embankment on Sunday. Mendofever reports the unidentified Fort Bragg woman who was driving sustained serious injuries and her two juvenile passengers were also injured. The vehicle was driving westbound and slid across double yellow lines, drove off the road, and slid down the embankment. Emergency personnel from CALFIRE and the Little Lake Fire District performed a rope rescue due to the steepness of the slope. All three in the vehicle were taken to Howard Memorial Hospital in Willits.
