The Lake County Board of Supervisors earlier in the week voted to approve a resolution that creates a Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee that will begin the 2023 update for the county’s Hazard Mitigation Plan. The county office of emergency services will chair the committee, with one representative from each supervisorial district invited to serve. Members of the community are are encouraged to submit a letter of intent by the 21st to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services in Lakeport or the Sheriff’s office.
