The Lake County Planning Commission meets this morning to discuss a proposed major use permit for a 170-foot tall cell tower in Clearlake Oaks and will consider a 20-year extension for a mine at 12572 White Rock Canyon Road, and a subdivision extension and the creation of commercially zoned lots for Valley Oaks Partners LLC. The commission will also hold a public hearing for a proposed use permit sought by Morgan Valley Wind Tower LLC for four 197-foot tall temporary meteorological towers intended to measure wind speed in Lower Lake.
