At their meeting this past Thursday, the Clearlake City Council approved the purchase of a piece of property on which a new roadway for commercial development will be built. The parcel at 6540 Old Highway 53 will be purchased from AmeriGas for $110,000. The property will be used to put in a new roadway and future commercial development at the city’s former Pearce Field airport. The roadway will run through two parcels of land purchased earlier in the year for $550.000.
