Adventist Health Hospitals May Fall Out of Network

Unless an agreement is reached by the deadline, which is today, local Adventist Health hospitals and clinics may fall out of the Anthem Health Network. In an open letter to the community published in the Ukiah Daily Journal, the President of Adventist Health in Mendocino County assured patients that Adventist is determined to reach a reasonable agreement with Anthem. President Judson Howe also said patients should continue to visit AH hospitals and clinics, and that if an agreement isn’t reached, patients who are currently undergoing treatment may be covered for a limited time through the Continuity of Care benefit, which is guaranteed by law.
