A utility truck and trailer were destroyed earlier in the week by a fire in Brooktrails. A resident saw large plumes of black smoke coming from a neighbor’s property and called the fire service. Multiple fire agencies responded to the location near the intersection of First Gate Road and Pinecrest Road. Within 15 minutes of their arrival, firefighters had the blaze extinguished. Fortunately, the fire was confined to the truck and trailer and had not spread to the woodland nearby.
