Fort Bragg’s Extreme Winter Shelter has closed for the season, and the Fort Bragg Police Department has issued 339 motel vouchers thus far. In a press release, the Department said in the past siting and staffing the shelter has delayed opening, and this year the city was able to open on time and keep the shelter open for an additional month. The press release also thanked all those who helped get and keep the shelter open and especially thanked the local Motel 6 and the corporate office for providing rooms for those with vouchers.
