According to a press release, public health officials reported yesterday that two more residents of Mendocino County have died due to COVID-19, making a total of 111 deaths in the area due to the virus since the pandemic began. The latest deaths were an 89 year old South Coast man who was reportedly unvaccinated, and a 45 year old North County man who had been vaccinated.
As of today, there are 48 new cases of the virus reported, with 12 people hospitalized, four of whom were in the ICU. For more information on vaccinations, go to mendocinocounty.org.
