Mendocino High Wood Shop Receives Grant From Local Artisan’s Foundation

The woodshop at Mendocino High is back in operation thanks to the help of many, including new instructor Tami Barty. Students are once again learning how to be creative and most importantly, safe. Donations from local woodworkers and businesses provided supplies, and now through a grant from the Krenov Foundation, machines can be repaired. James Krenov made the Mendocino Coast his home and thanks to his foundation, his legacy will live on through the work of students at Mendocino High.
