Mendocino County’s Public Health Officer, Dr. Andy Coren, is urging residents to carefully plan their upcoming gatherings, beginning with Halloween activities. While the latest surge in Covid-19 seems to be letting up, Dr. Coren advises that almost 40-percent of residents in the county are still not vaccinated for COVID-19. For Halloween and Dia de los Muertos gatherings, the health department recommends to not use decorative masks over a Covid-19 mask, avoid large parties, and keep gatherings only to people who are vaccinated.
