3 More COVID-Related Deaths in Mendocino County

Three more residents in Mendocino County have died from COVID-19. The Public Health Office reported that a 36-year-old Ukiah woman, a 47-year-old Ukiah man, and a 43-year-old Covelo woman all died recently from COVID-19. None of the three patients had been vaccinated. 28 new positive cases were reported yesterday the county, with 154 cases announced since Friday. There are 16 COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized, eight of which are in ICU. Adventist Health reports that the average vaccine efficacy is holding steady at 99.5% in Mendocino County which they say is great news that vaccines are working.
