There were two fatal crashes in Lake County on Saturday. The first crash happened Saturday morning on Highway 29, south of Middletown involving a large box truck and a pickup truck. According to the California Highway Patrol the crash resulted in one fatality. The second crash happened Saturday afternoon on Highway 20 just west of Blue Lakes Road. It was a head-on crash that left three people injured with one fatality.
