Mendocino County’s latest point-in-time homelessness count, required by the department of  Housing and Urban Development for federal funding, showed a decrease in unsheltered individuals from 552 to 440. Baby Formula Recalled Due to Botulism

A nationwide recall is underway for all ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula due to a multistate botulism outbreak linked to select lots. The outbreak has resulted in 15 suspected or confirmed cases across 12 states including California.  Lake County has reported no local cases and confirmed all affected products are off shelves
