Lake County Recorder’s Office to Launch New Document Recording System

The Lake County Recorder’s Office will soon implement an electronic recording document system, or ERDS, which also is known as eRecording. The new system is expected to help both businesses and individuals by allowing submission of documents through title companies, such as real estate transactions. The new system is expected to launch on July 1st.

Lake County Supers Approves Budget for Fiscal 2025-26

The Lake County Board of Supervisors at their meeting on Wednesday, approved a $420 million budget for fiscal year 2025-26. That 412 page budget is just under $19.5 million more than last year. The board will hold another public hearing on the final budget, scheduled for September 23rd, ahead of the October 2nd adoption deadline.

Lake County Code Enforcement Officer Pleads No Contest to Bribery Charges

A Lake County code enforcement officer arrested for bribery and grand theft pleaded no contest to two counts of accepting a bribe in Lake County Superior Court.
