A young adult male, unhelmeted, was seriously injured Saturday, March 21, in an electric scooter crash at Lakeport’s 11th and Forbes streets just after 2 p.m. Lakeport PD reports the male, traveling south on N. Forbes Street, failed to stop and collided with an adult female’s westbound vehicle, which was traveling at the speed limit. Neither name has been released. The male, as of Tuesday, was reported stable and remains under treatment.
