A regional Tsunami Drill will take place tomorrow at 11 a.m. across Del Norte, Humboldt, and Mendocino counties. The Office of Emergency Services will send test alerts, and residents are urged to practice their safety plans. The exercise comes months after a real tsunami advisory was issued along the Mendocino Coast last July 2025, when 3-foot waves were recorded in Arena Cove and other areas following a powerful offshore earthquake.
