The Lake County Board of Supervisors meets tomorrow, starting at 9 a.m. The Board will hear a presentation on the “damaging” local impact of The Big Beautiful Bill”. The Board will consider consolidating the Public Services and Public Works departments, a merger conceptually approved in January. The resulting department would have 110 positions and save an estimated $253,000 annually. The meeting can be watched live on Channel 8, online and on the county’s Facebook page.
