Mendocino County will welcome a new Chief DA Investigator on March 1st. With the retirement of Chief DA Investigator Andrew “Andy” Alvarado approaching, James “Jim” Schnitzius has been chosen as his replacement, bringing more than 28 years of law enforcement experience to the DA’s office.
