Caltrans has announced a $2.4 million investment in Mendocino County highways, funded by Senate Bill 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act. Approximately $1.3 million will go to road and guardrail upgrades on Highway 1 from Rockport to DeHaven, and $1.1 million for road and drainage improvements on Highway 271 near Leggett.
