The Mendocino County Prescribed Burn Association (PBA) held its first post-pandemic in-person meeting on Saturday, Feb. 7. Community members and the steering committee discussed fire, forest health, native plants, and the Eel River. Emily Lord, the beneficial fire and education coordinator for Mendocino County Fire Safe Council, manages logistics for workshops and lectures.
