The Kelseyville Unified School District Board of Trustees appointed Christian Villalobos, a Lake County Office of Education grant coordinator and native, to Rick Winer’s board vacancy until December, avoiding a special election. Villalobos has strong district ties (children attend, wife teaches) and will recuse himself from conflicts. Board meetings are usually on the third Tuesday at 6 p.m.
