A Mendocino County jury convicted William Hill, 42, of Fort Bragg, of aggravated kidnapping and assault with intent to commit rape in a 2019 cold case. The case was solved by DNA evidence linked to Hill’s 2022 sex crime convictions. Sentencing is scheduled for March 20, where Hill faces life in state prison.
