Clearlake Woman Convicted Of Husband’s Murder

Clearlake resident Dominique Irene Molina-Dominguez, 34, was convicted Friday of first-degree murder in the shotgun slaying of her 38-year-old boyfriend, DeAndre Grinner, at their home. Arrested July 2024, Molina-Dominguez shot Grinner once after lying in wait, then called police. The jury also found true special allegations—personally discharging a shotgun and using a firearm in a felony, with great bodily injury—which could add a consecutive 25 years to life sentence to the murder’s 25 years to life term. Molina-Dominguez is held in custody, with sentencing scheduled for March 3.
