Following the Jan. 11 Robin Lane sewer main rupture and sewage spill that has affected hundreds, Clearlake is ending its emergency water tank program (50 tanks installed) for a “long-term water quality solution.” Impacted well-water property owners must apply by Feb. 28 for free installation of UV filtration systems with prefiltration. Installation is based on application order, and temporary water service ends upon UV system setup. Details are at clearlake.ca.us.
