The Lake County Board of Supervisors, after the failure to join Sonoma Clean Power (SCP) last year, has formed an ad hoc energy policy committee comprised of supervisors Jessica Pyska and Helen Owen to restart energy talks. Supervisors stressed early collaboration with cities and tribes, a key lesson from the SCP process. Staff is now engaging with other Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) providers, including Marin Clean Energy and Valley Clean Energy.
